There is a reason Wash Park always lands on the top places to live in Denver list.

So why do Denverites fall in love with Wash Park?

Community Vibe

The area is popular with families, young professionals, and retirees alike. It's a community-oriented neighborhood with a strong sense of pride and engagement among its residents. There are frequent community events, and it's common to see neighbors out walking their dogs, jogging, or enjoying the park.

The Park

Washington Park itself is a 165-acre green space that serves as the centerpiece of the neighborhood. The park features two large lakes, expansive lawns, flower gardens, and tree-lined paths, making it a popular spot for outdoor activities. During the summer, the park is bustling with people playing volleyball, paddleboarding on the lakes, or just relaxing on the grass.

The Architecture

The neighborhood is filled with a mix of beautifully preserved early 20th-century homes, modern renovations, and some newer constructions. You will also find Craftsmen bungalows, Tudor-style homes, and classic Denver Squares. Tree-lined streets and well-maintained gardens add to the neighborhood's picturesque feel. Due to its desirable location and historic charm, real estate in Washington Park is on the higher end. Homes here are often in demand, and property values have been consistently strong.

Not to Miss

Wash Park is home to two central business hubs-Gaylord Street and South Pearl St. On either of these lively streets you will have your pick of top notch restaurants like the famed Sushi Den, locally-owned one-of-a-kind shops and boutiques, and an authentic mix of real people out and about.
